Text stock versus cover stock: The coated stock is recommended for text stock. For example, cards are normally printed on 80 lb cover paper weight. If business cards were printed on 80 lb text, they would be very thin! 80 lb text and 80 lb cover paper weight have different thicknesses. See the conversion table below.
